In 2014, Ray retired from the GE in Lynn MA and moved to Center Barnstead NH with his wife Lori and started Aches & Pains. Going through growing pains over the last few years, the band has finally found a great group of guys and have developed into a sought after classic rock dance band and we changed the name to reflect our new sound, the A&P Project.

Scott Michaud

Scott Michaud, a keyboardist, singer, and songwriter from Barnstead is an accomplished musician who brings to the band an eclectic mix of rock paying tribute to the artists that have influenced him and so many others. Classic, progressive, and southern rock from bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Supertramp, Eagles, and Journey, and artists like Elton John, Neil Diamond, Colin Hayes and Sting have left an indelible mark on our lives and branded our memories.

Drummer Dan

Drummer Dan started playing drums at age 13, on a vintage Olympic brand drum set borrowed from a neighbor. He started playing out gigs with a top 40 (80’s) rock band at age 18. The next 14 years saw him playing out nonstop, in a mix of original rock bands, as well as cover bands, doing weekly gigs spanning Rhode Island, up to Dexter Maine.

Afterwards, a change was in order. So he laid down his sticks from the music scene for a (brief) 26 year hiatus. In early 2022, at the insistence of an old friend he picked back up his sticks, blew the dust off the kit, and is once again pounding out musical timekeeping. Dan joined our band in 2023 and brings to us an extreme percussion talent rocking out the classic rock vibe.
